Fate, and a lot of luck.
So i've had a JK on order for the past month, no schedule to build, so no idea how long it could take. Out of boredom last friday morning I was searching inventories around the area to find JK's similar to what i wanted. the 32nd dealership i checked had almost exactly what i wanted. Only differences were grey interior, no side airbags, and a 6 cd instead of the single. So i didnt get my hopes up because i thought they would try to stick it to me for pricing, and it would be annoying to pass up the invoice pricing i already had on order. Sure enough, when i get to the dealer, they gave me a price within 100 of invoice and gave me what i wanted on the trade. Better yet, the jeep was just delivered off the truck the day before, and I PUT THE FIRST MILE ON IT on my test drive.
I asked them, simply, where do i sign? I got my deposit back from my ordered vehicle, and picked up my JK on saturday. I could not be happier, lots of Jeep waves
, lots of confused looks  from other drivers on the highway, and a whole lot of smiling on my part. Here's some pics, sorry they are a little cut off, there was cars right next to it, and we couldnt back up too much to take it. I assure you there will be more pictures soon. For now, i'm just very thankful that my boss kept me bored enough on friday to search through tons of dealers to find what i want and that the pricing went through!
