Default Feels like heat on when windows down

Anyone else think it feels like the heater is on when you have the windows down or top off. Hot air coming out from the floor vents?
Just did a run from Toledo to Denver and found that with the windows open and all the heating and cooling turned off that it felt like the heater was on full bore. Took it to Go Chrysler in Denver here and they took it for a ride and are telling me yea, hot air is coming out of the vents but that its totally normal.
Is this normal for anyone else? I'm going to bypass the heater core which the numbnuts at the dealer ship also told me will void my engine warrenty when I was looking for some kind of temp solution. With the windows closed or the a/c on, the hot air does not come out.

I noticed this as well. This engine runs very hot, this is likley just a result of that.

I too noticed this. I have never experienced heat coming out of vents like that before in my other Jeep.

Just turn on the recirc and the air won't flow out. This is normal for all cars when the windows are open and the AC is turned off.

Yes, I experience this too....all my previous vehicles would default to circulated air...but the Jeep does not, which is why this happens.

I notice this even more sometimes when the doors and top are off....its weird...much more so than when the top is on.

The only heat I have felt lately was the 100 and some odd degrees it is outside around my neck of the woods...I had the windows off all weekend and even at 70 mph the wind was still hot!!

On serious note...I have not noticed, I feel nothing coming out of the vents, upper or lower, but I wear jeans and boots year round so not sure if that would shield me from the heat you guys are feeling? Is it on the floorboard around your feet and legs?
