Fender light mod and RECON fender lights

Fender light mod and RECON fender lights
So, I did the fender light mod a while ago and it's been working fine. Recently, I added RECON 264134BK - 07-11 Jeep JK Wrangler; Front Turn Signal Lights; Smoked and all was still well. Then I added the RECON 264135BK - 07-11 Jeep JK Wrangler; Front Fender Lights; Smoked and here's the issue:
Depending which way I plug the LED light into the wiring harness:
1. It blinks with only the running lights on; or
2. It ONLY blinks when the running lights are not on and the running lights won't work.
Before I added the LED fender lights, it blinked no matter if the running lights where on or not. Any idea what the fix for this could be? Wondering if I should add a load equalizer to it. It didn't come with one.
