A few observations...
Got the rubi broken in today finally. (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-trails-tales-71/poppin-cherries-turkey-bay-ohv-park-lbl-ky-105015/) After doing some post-ride damage assessment, here are some things that i thought might help someone...maybe..lol
-Steering stabilizer
-Not sure if it was not torqued all the way down, or just got knocked around...but the single rough country stabilizer had rotated forward to the front of the tie-rod and took a nasty beating from some rocks. Loosened up the ubolts, rotated it back, and secured it back down. No real issues other than it looks nasty.
-Sway Bar
-My rubi has the e-disco of course, but i couldn't help but feel throughout the day that it still didn't allow for as much droop as i would have liked (especially in the rocks like in the video). Those of you that have manual disconnects, have you noticed much of a difference?
-Armor
-The stock rubicon rails ROCK!! They took an absolute beating and are no worse for the wear. However, i can't say as much for the stock skid plates lol. The large passenger side one didn't like the rocks at all. Gonna start looking at other options.
-Hi-Lift Jack
-I don't have one, but the tacoma that was with us did, and you better bet that is right at the top of my to-buy list. He used that thing to take his tacoma places it shouldn't have gone. Finished the same rock garden on 33's, it was uglier and he used the hell outta the jack, but it made it.
This may be stuff everyone already knows, but hopefully it'll help someone out that is undecided about anything.
