It Figures
Today was the first time I have washed my JK in 8 months. Vacuumed the interior, wiped out all of the dust, got the outside all nice and shiny.
Wouldn't you know I came out earlier this evening and the birds left their mark!
I ask my wife, "when is the last time you saw bird $h1t on the Jeep?" She says "never". Oh well.
One thing about Light Graystone, it never really looks dirty even when it is dirty.
I removed the spare to wash behind it and the tire carrier and removed the plastic covers from the rear gate hinges. A lot of dirt collects behind those plastic covers. I'm leaving them off for now, I think I like how it looks.
That is my feeble contribution to "JK Talk" this evening.

You have to be careful with the bird poo so it doesn't etch into your clearcoat.
So i've found that a good couple layers of dust, dirt, and mud will protect it from the bird excrements.
