Default Finally... No Doors!

I know this is not a big deal to most here on the forum, but after 3 years with my JK I finally took the doors off.

Coincidentally, this happened on the 3rd anniversary of buying the Jeep. Until recently I never had the combination of good weather and a safe place to store the doors.

First thing I did was take an off-road safari through a cow pasture to rustle up a herd of black angus. They were all good sports as I motored through.

Doors off = Awesome ride!

Congrats!!! I know that feeling. I've been cleaning up my JK for the past 2 weekends just waiting for good weather to break and take the top and doors off. Well, good weather broke and unfortunately, it's going to have to wait until I finish cleaning out my garage because over the winter I threw a bunch of stuff under my garage hard top hoist that now needs to be put else where and where I usually hang my doors I've got my rear cargo basket hanging, so I need to relocate that also.

Awesome! I had the same problem, what to do with the doors?? Finally built some storage in the garage. I even got my wife to agree that doorless is the way to go...

Found out 2x4's bolted to the rafters work great.

Then also figured out, when I wasn't hanging the doors, those same 2x4's worked great for hanging my rear Cargo basket when it wasn't attached to the back of my JKU. But now realize I need another set of 2x4's because I can't hang both at the same time.

Good for you, man...it's an awesome feeling to run with top down and doors off. Now you know why dogs love it so much. LOL

She was all "it doesn't seem safe" and "what if blah blah blah..."... then we went out for a ride and by the time we got back, she's asking me why they bother making them with doors..
