First full Day in my JK (2dr)
Drove a little over 600 miles in about 10 hours for the first time in my JK.
It was mostly interstate. I was pleased with the day long confort of the seats. The Hardtop kept noise controlled and allowed easy listening of the xm.
Since the terrain was mostly flat...Texas Louisiana and Miss the jeep cruised along much of the time at 75 mph with no problem. Some stretches had some freeway hop to deal with and the old hood wobbled a bit even with the hinge fix.
My average speed was slowed by the small fuel tank coupled with average highway mileage of about 20.1 ( instrument average is close to actual calculated mileage)
I had to stop three times since I started with only a partial tank....
This was my first long road trip and I am pleased with how the JK did on the road.
