HIJACK !!

Damn, you might be my twin ! lol I have 2 AMG's and a '72 Pontiac !!

0-60 on the high 6 second range on the jk's!!!

Ive got a BMW 325Ci that can barely squeeze under 7 seconds...

Oh, I pick up my JK Sport this week... Been on order since 6/9

Have you all seen the JKU Dragrace? JKU in the low 8's vs the Mid 11's on the 2011 (for the Auto tranny)

It's borderline frustrating how slow a JKU is at speed so I like to see these big improvements in streetability. Now I'm even more frustrated.

I'm happy for those people who drive their Jeeps fast.

As for myself...I rarely go over 50. I must've hit 80 maybe five or six times since I bought the thing in late 2007.

Just remember:
  • Stay in the right-most lane - even if you are doing the "speed limit".
  • And...It's never, ever, okay to wear dark socks with shorts. If you do, go whole hog and wear the strapped sandals as well.

But don't wear strapped sandals with a fanny pack. That's a big fopa.

So the JK runs as fast as a Ram 1500 4x4 with a Hemi and gets 3 more mpg city and 1-2 more mpg highway depending on transmission. AND the JKU is offered with better offroad gearing. Who needs a gas guzzler?

What did you have? My family loves their old Pontiacs. Dad liked his 421 Super Duty Cat's, my brother is a GTO nut and has a 65 and 05, I am the Trans Am / Firebird fanatic. And on the other hand the AMG's are fricking amazing in the way of performance and elegence wrapped into one. AMG = all money gone like JEEP = just empty every pocket x 10 though.

Doesn't the Liberty have the 3.7? That's a completely different engine than the 3.8 in the JK.

Glad there are finally some test numbers and not at all shocked they are being denied or dismissed by some.

All I know is mine is a blast on and off road. Took a buddy to badlands today and he kept commenting "this thing drives like a go kart"!

And yah it's quick! For me quick is fun! Regardless of dirt or pavement.
