Question Flags

For the guys and gals running full sized 3x5 flags on their JK's, how are you securing them?

I wanted to do it for the 4th, but was too busy top rig something up. I'm looking to rig something up for next weekend. I'm thinking of making a base out of 2x4's that runs from the back of the seats to the tailgate. I'll get a flag kit with a 45/90 degree bracket and screw that to the 2x4's. When I mount the flag, I figure I'll either use zip ties or pipe clamps to secure the upper part of the pole to the roll bar.

I have an Unlimited. Any input to make this work better would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I drilled two 1/4 holes in a wooden flag pole and zip tied it to my spare and to the center tail light on the spare tire holder. thing doesnt even budge its pulled so tight up against the rear tire (rubber grip )

Nice! Thanks.

I've had a window flag zip tied to the top of the 3rd brake light since the 4th of July.

I use the T-Handle of the Or-Fab tire carrier as a flag holder and a PVC flag pole inserted into it, but without the tire carrier, I can't really help out.
