Default Fluid leaks DIFF / Trans

Went out today to cchange my oil and found some fluid where the transmission meets the bell housing. After looking around some more I found traces of fluid coming out of the rear differential.

Has anyone exprienced this and if so did the dealer fix???

I called the dealer and mad an appoint for Thursday to get all checked and do the G40 recall (scares me)

not overly concerned with the diff. Figure I could easily remove and regasket it myself. The tranny on the otherhand is more of a concer.

Recently installed my OME lift so I am hoping the dealer does'nt go there with warranty issues.

Thanks for the input and I will keep everyone posted.

The RTV gasket job from the dealer/factory was horrible on ours. Both diff covers leaked. Especially the rear. I put Soild covers and lube lockers on ours.

Noticed my rear diff leaking the other day and had dealer reseal it. Haven't been under it for a few weeks to notice the tranny.

my front and rear diffs were poorly sealed as well from the factory... my transmission had a noticable leak at the pan seal. The dealer resealed my tran pan... but now i am missing a bolt on the front of the transmission.

i resealed my front and rear diffs myself... depends on where you are leaking, you should be able to seal the transmission pan with the same rtv stuff... i used the orange hitemp.

Took it in last night, got it back this afternoon 2:30.

1. Recall completed. 50 miles so far and no issues

2. Oil change - last time for the dealer but it was free.

3. Rear Diff. resealed. and they agreed leaking

4. Dealer claims wha I am seeing at the bell housing is manufacture grease and it was used during the build and it will stop. It is noted and if it does not they will repair under warranty. Tomorrow I will vclean it up real good and monitor it.

Thanks for feedback.
