Default Fog Lamp Wiring...

I was at my trusted 4x4 shop today talking with the owner about possible fog lamp installation, and as he was checking my bumper and the undercarriage, he noticed a wiring harness that is specifically for the OEM fog lights...bear in mind I have the X with no fogs or tow hooks, and was pleasantly surprised to find this piece...well, after discussing my options, I told him I'll wait for the new MOPAR steel offroad bumper to come out with fog lamp cut outs, and that, coupled with ordering a new turn signal stalk to accomodate the fogs, I should be good to go...don't really understand how Jeep makes so many variations of one platform...some get hood padding, some don't...some have footwell lights (I do), and some don't...some have underhood lights...and some don't...some have underhood wirng without lamps (I do) and some don't...go figure.

I'm pretty sure all JKs come with that harness, and many other harnesses like e-sway, lockers, tow harness plug, etc. So if someone wants to add something, you just buy the part and plug it in, instead of running wires.

Hey Dustoff, what year is your JK 07 or 08? Mine is an 07 and i dont think it came pre-wired. That would be sweet if it had though. I'll have to do a double check.
