foggy windows
I thought it was my imagination, so I let it go for a while. But I felt like when I got the jeep back from the dealership detailer that my windows where not as clear as when I bought my jk. There 3 faint stripes,( I think from someones fingers) where the plastic windows are clearer than the rest. As if the oil from them somehow protected the plastic. I bought some bestop cleaner for windows & didn't see any appreciable difference. Anyone have any tips for keeping them as clear as possible.
Never roll up your windows or lower your top with them still on. Try not to stack them when storing them unless you have a soft cloth inbetween each piece. Do not wipe the windows down dry or with a paper towel. Only use a soft non-abrasive cloth and when wet. If you have scratches or fogging, I have heard some people use Lemon Pledge on them and that works pretty well but I personally like to use the Novus window care kit

Novus plastic cleaner works well. 4wd.com sells it, as well as many other jeep stores.
they also make polish, to rub out scratchs, mostly light scrathes. I worked at a furniture store before my current job, it does wonders on plastic windows.
