Default Folding windshield down, and incomplete manual....

I got the bright idea to install my sirius stiletto antenna on front hood in front of driver's seat. To do this, I lowered the windshield, threaded the wire underneath, and fastened the windshield back up. There are two little pop-out squares on the top of the dash-one on each side, that served as a convenient spot for running the antenna wire back up to the docking station-looks pretty good.

However....folding the windshield down was a process....I had to remove the front Freedom panels, take out 3 hex bolts per side near visors, 6 torx bolts on outside metal panels, remove both windshield wipers with 1 hex nut each...following the instructions in the manual closely...only to find that my windshield would still not fold down because of two things not mentioned in the manual:
1. You have to pop out/break (I got determined) a plastic plug disguised as a screw below the hex bolt on the inside of the A-pillar...there is one on each side.
2. The anchors for the sun-visor bolts also apparantly serve as a locking mechanism for the windshield-I found if I stood up on the front seats and lifted up (pretty forcefully) while I was attempting to fold down the windshield, I was able to force it over and get the darn thing down.
Then, there was the matter of forcing the windshield back over the anchors when I put the windshield back upright......whew!
Also, the plastic A-pillar pieces are a little tricky to get off/on as they have two attached metal clips to snap them in place, and a plastic guide thingy that has to be put back correctly.....

Hope this helps anyone attemping this.

Oh, and does anyone know where I might find two replacement plastic plugs?

It does seem a far cry from my CJ, where you unscrew the large, easy bolts on each side and drop it down. Takes all of 30 seconds.
