Default Found a set of axles for cheap

Hey guys,

Found a guy who is selling a set of axles (front d30 and rear d44) for $900 bucks. He said they have shafts but doesn't think the rear has a locker. I already have a 30 front but only a rear 35 so would this be a decent grab? (spare parts for the front and a new tougher rear)

I forgot to ask him what the gear ratio was but lets assume it's at least equal to my current setup (4.10's)

Thanks!

man you got the shaft with the D35 rear, your the second person i've ever seen with one..

$900 is a good price for both.

If he doesnt know if it has a locker, it probley doesnt. Ask him if it has any wire plugs on the housing.

Yeah tell me about it... I wish I had known a little more about Jeeps when I bought it

Judging by the pictures it doesn't look like it has E-Locker hookups.

Should I also find out if he knows if they came from an X/Sahara or Rubi? I thought I had read somewhere that the splines are different. Though does a Rubi even offer a front 30?

Sweet, so I can indeed use it as a backup front until I find some cash to upgrade it.

Now I have to break it to the wife...

Thanks for the quick feedback!

lol yeah, that's why I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a deal to come by.

I wheel pretty carefully (no wheel spin) so I've manage to get lucky thus far but I'm just waiting for the day that I break down on the trail...
