Freedom Top - your thoughts.. great idea or not?
when i first saw the freedom top, i thought "yeah baby! what a great idea!".
now that i have one, i find that i never use the feature, and it's just an added pain when putting on / taking off the hard top.
your thoughts? do you use it? what configuration do you use when you do?

I like the Freedom top idea as I have used it from time to time during the fall or spring when you get a sweet sunny warm day when it can normally be colder than a witches Titty on most days.
The only thing I would have liked is if the freedom panels were just 1 piece instead of 2 it may have helped with the issues of leaking and windnoise. But...again the 2 piece does make it lighter to remove as well easier to store than just one piece.

the freedom top is awesome... the hard top is heavy and now with it as big as it is and with permanent roof rack.. I can't get into the garage to use the hoist I made to take off the hard top. So being able to run with the front two panels off (takes me less than a minutes as I hardly ever put the screw posts in) when nice days pop up is awesome when I can't find a neighbor to help me take off the top!
I love it! My soft top's on all summer but it's awesome when I get the odd nice day in spring and fall when I haven't switched tops yet. It's not the same as top down, but at least I can get some sun and fresh air better than a full on hard top.
