front end exploded...long post
to make a long story not as long...
bought the jeep in august last year. front end making noise like a squeel. took it to my shop maybe 8 times and they couldnt fix it then the TSB for the pinion seal came out an di had to tell them about it to get it fixed. they finally fixed it in november and all seemed well.
come this winter...front end making weird noise again. like pads dragging on rotors. i am now living in colorado just moved form pa so i take it to a new dealer. they say it normal and all is great and not to worry. i call BS and take it back a week later demanding it be looked at. they say the front bearings are bad form improper installation form when i had the tsb done in pa. ONE MONTH LATER....still waiting for back order parts/gear set. they told me it was here so took jeep in 2 days ago only to get a call and say the parts are still BO. come get the jeep. 12 hours later im driving to work and BANG!!! fornt end locks up and im heading towards the ditch. front diff exploded along with god knows what else.
i was scheduled to do a 800 mile road trip including moab this weekend wiht my visiting GF. i got a liberty rental...i guess well see how it does on the sllick rock
this is the second chrysler product i had towed of the side of the highway that was a new vehicle. im done after this. no more. my srt-4 had all the collan lines explode on me with 3k mile son the odometer. now the jk had the front end explode. rediculous. sorry im peeved right now.
