Default Front end rattle question? Help

Sounds like something is loose in my front end when I drive on the street and go over bumps in the road. What are the things that I should check first or what things have the best chance of being or erring loose and vein my issue? I can't find it. Thanks

A few things to re-torque...

- Track-bar (both ends)
- Shock mounting nut and bolts
- Sway-bar links (check for wear)
- Check ball joints for wear
- possbly steering dampner?

While you are at it, you can even retorque the control arms...on level ground and resting on wheels.

Yeah he pretty much got a bunch of it,

Track bar ends
sway bar links
shock bolts (top and bottom)
check the exhaust heat shields
tierod ends
maybe your hood prop is out of the holder?

My most recent rattle/thump was occuring at speeds of greater than 35 or so, turns out my fender liners were a little loose and since adding some rubi rails and my front bumper, wind could get at them more, tapping them back against my firewall, but i could feel it in my feet. Long story short i ended up zip tying the fender liner around the body moutn so it's tight and not flapping. Just one of those things that will drive you crazy that nobody else hears or feels.
