Default Front Grill

Does anyone know if they make a steel front grill for the JK. I have nothing but problems with bugs. They embed themselves into the plastic. It's very hard to clean.

Here is one on Quadratec... http://www.quadratec.com/products/13131_101.htm

EDIT... Just read about it, it is chrome plated plastic. The bugs might come off easier considering most of the new vehicles with chrome on the road are chrome plated plastic.

I don't want chrome. It will still have problems with bugs. Then after awhile the chrome will chip. It is a overlay so it won't look right

It says "in place of" on Quadratec which I thought would mean replaces, but I could be wrong.

It is plastic not steel like I asked . And it is an overlay not a replacement grill. I already know about it also it is way overpriced . Also I would not buy anything from Quadratrac. They never have what I want in stock.

It does replace the factory grill, but it's still just a plastic grill with chrome "overlay"...so it's not a true chrome (or even metal) grill. I doubt there's something out there like we're looking for though. I like the body color grill on mine, but just wish it was metal. I don't guess it really matters though, just seems more "Jeepy" that way.....is that a word?

Yeah, I bought a roll of that (similar, not the same) from Cabela's one time to put along the rocker panels of my Ranger...it works pretty good.
