Funny sticker I saw at Jamboree this weekend..
So I love my Jeep and I do wonder why other vehicles are manufactured and sold...but I understand that some people do not share that opinion haha. A few guys at the Jamboree yesterday were running stickers that said the following.
"I got your Jeep Thing...now it hurts when I pee"
I was kind of put off at first...then I felt sad that they were stuck with boring pick up trucks so I let it slide.

Any vehicle that is manufactured with the tire underneath the bottom of the vehicle is not manufactured for real off-road work. They can stick all the fancy stickers they want it them (my favorites to winch out have 4X4 in big letters on the side!), they can put huge mud tires and jack the things up to the heavens, but if they can't get the most basic thing right--the ability to change a flat tire when stranded in who knows what situation--they are absolutely, completely, without the least bit of doubt, positively, NOT off-road by design. You're at liberty to quote any of that to their face, should you so chose.

I used to be the guy with the lifted F-350 and thought I could go anywhere. After having this Jeep for a couple years, I realize how lifting a pickup is good for looks, and maybe straight line mud bog, nothing more.

That was a good one. On the other hand, no matter how long I have this Jeep or any subsequent Jeep, I will never get one of those "....you wouldnt understand" stickers. Always thought those were extremely....well, you know!
I agree, there's a certain arrogance to it. I prefer "Don't Follow Me, You Wouldn't Make It." Note that no exclamation point is needed. It's a simple statement of fact.
Went to Moab with my best friend from over a quarter century of military service. He's one of those tricked-out, lifted pick-up truck, 4WD sticker people, too. But, after running four days of Fins and Things, White Rim Trail, and Elephant Hill Trail, he told me, "I will never again say bad things about a Jeep. There's no way my truck could have done all that we did in this Jeep. I am amazed, Mark."
