Default Gears

I read a thread about a month ago, don't remember the exact post but something went wrong under the jeep and someone asked how to avoid these problems and a reply was how not to regear along with other changes, point of post. . . Can there be any problems that come along with regearing ?

There is always a chance for a poor install, but going with a repuatable shop you should not see any issues.

The biggest problem is that the pinion gets smaller when you regear, but I would not loose sleep over it if you are staying with a reasonable ratio.
