Hey guys, new to the forum and interested in getting a Sahara Unlimited. Should I try to get a good deal on an 08, or just order an 09? I am hearing the hard top problems will be solved with the new 09's? any info would be great guys. Thanks in advance!

09 is my vote.

supposedly it has a cool net thing to hold stuff, a console insert, and better hardtop.

Heard a rumour of better sun visors. anyone confirm this?

 

here in Bend , Oregon they have 4 new 09s on the lot and all of the 08 ruby's are 3000.00 off. they have like 20 08s still on the lot. so a nice package was 31,500 and it is now 28,500. and not much diff in the 09. and they are NOT dealing at all on the new 09s......so they might make a great deal on an 08 ....they still have the full lifetime waranty. they said they will throw in the lil net thingy for free too!!!

Priced an 08 here in NJ, sticker was $34,700, dealer price $30,919. The 09 was $500 more, no incentive's and less equipment.

 

Take the good value.

With the extra coin you can afford to put in the net thingy, buy and attach the rear tow hook, and buy us all a beer!

Then you can suck it up like a lot of us and live with the craptacularness of the top.

Then again, if you're dead set on a '09 or one of the new colors, fill your boots. Either way, enjoy!
