I only got the Freedom Top with my JK. Of course, now I want some type of soft top. I live in Michigan, so I just want something to use for a couple of months - something when I take the Freedom Top off - for protection(especially at work). What do you recommend?????

 

Go with the soft top. For the bikini, duster, windjammer combo to work well you actually need several different pieces from a soft top, like the door surrounds. By the time you buy those, you could probably pick up a complete soft top for a little more and have it be completely sealed.

I recently went through the same thought process. Go to the for sale forum on here and pick one up there. You will be much happier with the soft top. I alove the sunrider and the ease of operation is great.

 

Nope the only way to get a complete soft top is through the dealer or getting one from someone here. You can get a replacement top from Bestop but it is only the fabric NO HARDWEAR. Even with the safari/duster/deck covers you need the softtop hardwear to seal it up and you would have to order them from the dealer. That all said Bestop is working on a fastback top that appears to be an all in one replacement.

 

Get the soft top. You can lose the windows and roll up the rear corner panels of the top and you basically have a bikini top when you want it.

 

I like the bikini duster combo and when I get mine on I'll post some pics. If you get the wrap around windscreen and use factory door surrounds they do seal up.. I'm just waiting on my door surrounds to come ups,,

I just ordered the bestop mesh bikini top. Just want a little reduction in the sun in my eyes. Also got the tube doors to keep the kids in.
