Gladiator??? Is it gonna happen?
Has anyone heard if the Gladiator is gonna make it to the showroom floor. I hope so. If it does, it should be offered with choice of 3 engines. The X model should have the new Pentastar V6 (do a google search for details). The Rubicon model should have choice of the 3.0L CRD or the 5.7l Hemi. The X model should have D44's front and rear and be offered with up to 4.56:1 gears. The Rubi should have the j8 axle set up (D60 rear on leafs and d44hd front on coils, or better yet a D60 on front too) with a choice of 4.88:1 or 5.13:1. Both versions should have the 4:1 low range xfer case. 33" tires should be stock on the X model and 35's stock on the Rubi. With the room to go up to 37's if desired. Now if only Chrysler will pay attention to me!!!

I think you are right about the price if it was a conversion kit performed by an individual owner or a custom shop. But for the factory to do it, I think the x model could be realistically offered at 24-27k and the Rubicon as I describe could be produced to sell at less that 36k.

I'd say no way, in fact Jeep seems to have moved on, if we see any pick-up variant in the JK it will be something like the JT or J8 Sarge version of the Unlimited. It would be cool though.

Quite a while ago Chrysler said they had no plans to produce the Gladiator.
This was easily over a year ago and of course things change, but given their current financial situation I'd be surprised if they start production on something new.
