This is a recent find on the "car based" Grand Cherokee for "2011 - 2012".

i think the same thing. they are both trucks but the JT is using already made parts. the gladiatar is so kick-ass looking though. if it comes out i will get one no doubt in my mind. unless it is way expensive. either or they both would be sweet i'd take the gladiator over the JT any day

The side mounted spare is a stylistic nod to the early CJ's, which moved the spare from the rear to allow for a functional tailgate. Highly unlikely something like that would ever go into production, but it make the Gladiator concept look that much more unique.

Check out this link to something the site is calling "j-2010" or a full size Jeep truck based on the dodge powerwagon. I almost smell 2 sizes of jeep truck available. the Scramble and the Gladiator.

http://blogs.jpmagazine.com/6249365/...010/index.html

this one talks about the Scrambler

http://www.edmunds.com/jeep/scrambler/2010/review.html

So a Smaller Scrambler based on the JK
and a Gladiator based on the full size Dodge.

If you google jeeps for 2010 you'll even get hits from sites talking about an electric chrysler to compete with the Chevy Volt.

These are interesting times.
