Default Gnarly top leak..

Alright so I have a 2017 wrangler unlimited and the stock soft top is leaking badly…I just got back from a two month leave and came back to the middle row of it being flooded, droplets on the roof (had to air it out) and mold growing inside, it’s so bad I can slap the floor and splash water around… I cannot find the spot where it’s leaking from I’ve taken the top completely off with some buddies and none of us could find anything wrong anywhere.. it’s parked on a slight incline maybe an inch or two at the very most… Anyone with any ideas please help.

They make a silicone type spray like you use for tents etc. that goes on clear and waterproofs stuff. You might try coating it with that and see if that helps. If not it might be seeping in an area in the rear zippers etc and making its way to the floor.

If you have the hardtop then when you are away for a while suggest you put that on. Drains and gutters being right are important. I take my panels off regularly and clean all rubbers, check them and spray with liquid silicone and that keeps them watertight.

Best way to find a leak is to get more help from your friends, you sit inside and have them spray the jeep down with a garden hose. Depending on the size of the leak, should be pretty easy to spot.
