Argghhh! I called NSOR today for a status update on my Gobi order. The status last week was that I should see it Friday of this week. The status this week is that it should ship from Vancouver to me in Prince George next Monday and SHOULD be here Tuesday "if they ship it out on time Monday". If not then I should expect it Wednesday... This is annoying as originally I was told that it was supposed to ship to me on May 21 and arrive on the 22nd.

The more annoying part is that I ordered a bunch of other kit (which is at their location) but they're gonna ship it with my rack all at once. This was a great idea at first as it saved me $ on shipping but as its all 10 days over due and won't arrive until approx 3 weeks after it was slated to arrive I'm getting more impatient by the day.

But I gotta say the guy I've been dealing with has been great otherwise and he spent the better part of the afternoon last week trying to find out what the delay on my rack was.

And as I'm not 100% on forum sponsor rules I won't go any further than I did above by mentioning the stores initials I ordered my rack from, but if their are an CANADIANS interested in getting the Gobi but are afraid of the crazy shipping $, I got mine (with lader and wind deflector) for $1850 tax & shipping included.

Hope I'm allowed to say that, but I know there are a number of people North of the border who really want the Gobi but as I've found out shipping can run upwards of $700!
