A good dealership
So far. So good.
I hear more than a few on here going on about the "stealership" but I want to share my "stealership" experience.
A little history: I bought my 08 Wrangler on July 27th and have over 14,000 miles to date. I've had every oil change, tire rotation and service done by the dealer. Each service has been performed in a timely manner and I've been given several good deals. They gave me a 20% discount on my 12,000 mile service, Rubi rock rails for $100 installed, Unlimited Rubi Springs for nothing, 40% off list for a trailer harness.
The warranty work has been minor so far and I hope each and every encounter goes as well. So far I have replaced the plastic bushing in the TC linkage, replacemed the back window (cracked in the cold) and today they tightened up the TC case bolts to resolve a seep. I come in dirty, scratched up with mud & grass hanging off the chassis and they don't say a word. Well, the service tech did say something... he saw a bent pinch weld and said "Man, you need some rock rails!" Most of my time is spent shooting the breeze with my service rep. We talk about his family, his cherokee, lifts and other parts, places to go off road, etc.
Today I pull up and as I'm getting out I hear one of the other service reps say to mine (It was a she) "Why are his windows all scratched up?". He's replies "He actually uses his"
Later on, before I leave, he's calling one of the parts guys inquiring about some take-off Unlimited Rubi shocks for me. Refers to me as "One of our Wrangler owners"
I'm gonna keep going back to my dealership.

It also may have something to do with you getting your regular maintenance done there, and not just going there for warranty purposes.
It's good to have a good relationship with them.
I'm thinkin moving might be a great idea. only ya'll ain't got no red clay hills. I'd feel lost without a good red clay hill to slide up and down and around on.
I have the same kind of service from my dealer. They bend over backwards to make customers satisfied, I have sent a number of people in there to buy vehicles and they were all happy with the deal and the service.
I know not all dealerships are this way because I have one that is closer that I would not buy a lugnut from, they are ignorant and have terible service, but they do have a brand new building with a drive thru service bay that no one uses. They won't be around long with the way the auto bussiness is going.

My dealership just closed down... I'm sad cuz they were good. I could talk to the reps about anything with the Jeep in any condition. Anyways I'm assuming you're in St. Augustine, Florida. What's your dealer's name and where are they located. I'd love to have a really nice dealership like that again.
I too have found that getting all my service done at the dealer really helps when it comes time to do warranty repairs.
I think there's nothing more important when buying a new vehicle than having that relationship, it'll pay off.

wow. I like doing all my own work on my Jeeps, but I might take it in for service for the first year or two to kind of build a relationship with them so that if I do have any warranty work to take in it will be easier to work with them. I know a good dealer that's a ways away from my house. (there are two that are closer, but I won't take it to either one of them) I can't take it to the place I'm getting it from because 1. it's way to far from my house like 90 some miles. 2. I technically didn't buy it from them. I bought it through ENCS and that's the closest dealer to my HOR that participates in the ENCS program.
Thanks for the good thread!!!
