Default Got Rear-ended

Sorry, no pics yet. I cant get them off of my phone for some reason.

Was crawling down I55 in traffic and WHAM! Sitting in the seat after it happened, first i thought wow she hit me hard. There is going to be damage. Then i looked into my rearview and saw her car (grand prix GTP). Whole front end smashed in. Walked around the JK to take a look and was astounded at the lack of damage. She messed up the rear bumper cover, bent one of the tabs on the tow hitch and put a little dent in my muffler. All cosmetic damage!

Afterwards i went and got my JK up on a lift to inspect further and everything looks great. Even the crossmember behind the bumper cover is perfect.

Gotta say i am really impressed with how the JK took a big hit. Thank god i didnt grive the TJ that morning cause i dont think it would have faired as well as the JK.

BTW anyone have a EO bumper cover sitting in their garage that they want to get rid of?

Glad you're okay. You should definitely take the insurance money and get an aftermarket bumper.

The aftermarket is still to young IMO. I want to wait a little to see what comes out in the next year. Plus i can use the $ to get some rock rails.

Sounds like you are ok, which Im glad to hear.
Also happy to hear the factory rear bumper is fairly robust and the Jeep made it out mostly unscathed

One of the other threads advocate putting trailer hitches on to really demolish tailgaters

Any way you can make those pics bigger?
Yup! She got the brunt of it - that's for sure.

I can make them bigger, but the resolution would stay the same. The pics i posted are the unedited originals as they came off of my phone. THey suck, i know, but its all i got.
