Guess who loves Jeeps now
I have always loved Jeeps specialy Wrangler types, but growing up my mother always said Jeeps were to dangerous. So I ended up with a Camero followed by 2 trucks. Now that I am a grown man and have a sweet JK. Every one likes to go for rides in it. My daughter, my niece, my nephew, my sister, friends, Dad and yes even MOM! Mom says she won't go serious off roading with me or on the highway but she has told my Dad she wants one. I told them over and over to get a 4 door JK but they ended up with a BMW not even a cool one its a BMW SUV say those two sets of initials enough times together and you start to feel your self want to vomit.
Dad says look electric sun roof
My roof and doors come off.
Dad says It gets better gas mileage
I can go any where you can go and beyond
Dad says its a BMW
Exactly yours is a BMW mine is a JEEP I win and now Mom wants a Jeep, JK 4 door
well thats that thanks for reading about my little personal conquest to turn my family into a Jeep family.
Yes being the good son I am I reminded my mother "Jeeps are dangerous"
She told me, very lovingly like a mother would and should, Shut up
I will let you know when Mom gets her wish and gets a Jeep

Kind of had a similar situation but not exact. The engine in my mothers car seized up and died so i went to the dealership and bought her a used Grand Cherokee, needless to say my mother loves it. My sister who bought her "Dream Car" , a Toyota 4Runner, about a year ago now drives my moms Jeep more than her own Toyota.
The other day my sister told me, "I guess this means I have to buy me a Jeep and become a Jeep family"
I turned to her and said, "What the F*$% are you waiting for then!"
Her response, "Yeah, but it has to be like yours so i can take the doors and roof off"
I just smiled

I just found out this weekend that my Dad's new issued work cark is Jeep. It's a Liberty but it is a step in the right direction. He already told me his boss won't let him lift it or even put on off road lights. LOL

I showed my aunt my lifted JKU a few weeks back, she told me when she came to america from england a few years back she wanted a Jeep but, my mother talked her out of it because she heard they are prone to "roll over"...I told her that is madness and why would they mass produce a vehicle that is prone to "roll over"...she gave my mother a dirty look...I think I started something

Dad was looking at a little convertable in the paper telling mom it would be great for her.
Me: Jeep's are convertables
Mom: We could use a Jeep to take the grand kids fishing
Dad: We can take the BMW fishing
Crickets chirping as we stare at dad.
Dad: Ok we will start looking for a Jeep
We will wait and see if it actually happens
