Good luck riding out the storm! At least it sounds like it stayed a Cat3 and didn't blow up to a Cat 4-5 like they thought it might.

Its not so much the wind that you have to worry about, as what is in the wind. ie shingles, 2x4's, rocks, glass, and other flying debri. Maybe take it to the dealer and say it needs some warranty work done. Maybe they'll put it inside the shop. Good luck to you and your jeep.

Watching this on TV now. I appreciate your concern for your Jeep, but first and foremost keep yourself out of harms way.

I hope this storm passes quickly with little loss of life and damage.

All of you in the Gustav path are in our prayers.

Thanks for the thoughts....survived the night..its about 0830...a few palm branches on the hood....shifting the jeep along side a structure to keep the front end/grill out of the wind and rain, and the brunt of it will hit the rear end first...my thoughts are with those in Louisiana.
