H3 move aside
I thought I would share with you an interesting experience today. When my wife woke up this morning she said she wanted to take a ride up the mountain in the Jeep for mothers day. Sounded good to me
, so we loaded up our boy, the dog and headed out.
We chose a far less travelled road up the backside of the mountain to avoid the crowds that would be going up the paved road. As we were halfway into the 44 mile trip, we encountered an H3 going up the same single lane road. It was a rough road, but no so much that you even needed 4H. You wouldn't have thought so watching the driver of the H3. It still had a dealer plate on it and from the looks, the driver was scared to death to go over 5mph (apparantly the rocky, dirt road was to much for him).
After patiently following this H3 for about a mile, the driver must have sensed that I wanted to get by (maybe the occasional nudge from behind
) . He finally pulled off to the side and let me pass. We waved out of courtesy as we passed by, but all I could think was "why get a four wheel drive vehicle if all you wanted to do is stay on the pavement
"? We soon couldn't even see him in the rear view mirror.
Must be a Jeep thing.
