Default Hacked up wheels.

Had two sets of Cragar black street lock wheels delivered from Quadratec now and all eight have been all scratched and chipped around the very outer rim.

One even has a good size chunk out of it!! I'm dying to get these things mounted with my new 33's and now I'm stuck with eight shitty rims. This will be my first mod man and it's killin' me.

I had a soft top I bought on ebay that was delivered by UPS (same as the wheels) as well and it got damaged. Can these dudes deliver anything intact?? Mind you the wheels aren't particularly well packaged. The bare wheel is just thrown in a box.

Anyone else had this bull!!

I wonder how many times those wheels were returned by other customers...same happened here with my FXD diff guards...the Dana 44 was packaged nicely in original box...the 30 was wrapped in newspaper and sent in a clearly damaged box...30 had multiple scratches and dings, but I said screw it...I was going to Line-X them anyway, which I did, but no longer will order from Quad............

Hi hbomb- for the guys who are of an age LOL I'm sure you all will remember back in the 70's the white spoke wagon wheels, hell there wasn't a jeep in Texas that didn't have them. The same problems occoured back then, chipped out of the box or as soon as a wheel weight was put on them a ugly rust spot would develop underneath it. They were particularly bad about rusting in the seam between the outer rim and the center section. Any painted or powdercoated wheel WILL NOT have the same durability as a chrome wheel, aluminum wheels with a clearcoat can also develop chipping or peeling issues. Chrome or polished will avoid these coating issues- send them all back, if you are paying 100% they should BE 100% when you recieve them....
