Half Door Ulimited X
Went by the local dealer this morning to order some parts and saw a brand new rescue green unlimited x with half doors coming off the transporter. VERY COOL!Anybody else wish they had waited?
I'm still waiting for mine.
What's the deal DCX?
I ordered mine in JANUARY–the 2nd day they could put the order in the computer! Did that many people order them on day 1 that they are so backed up?? I'm thinking about writing a letter to some DCX execs and cc: the execs at some of the companies rumored to be in talks to buy Chrysler Group. That will either get me bumped up on the schedule or blackballed.

I love the look of the half doors with the top off, but there's just something about the 4door with the top on and the soft upper doors that doesn't look right to me. I would love to have a set of half doors to throw on for the summer though. Hopefully someone (aftermarket) will put something out soon, and we can have the best of both worlds.

Still waiting on mine as well. Ordered the 4dr with half-doors, but I understand they were on hold until late March.
Personally, I think it will be worth the wait. I drive my current CJ7 with soft half-doors and a bikini in the summer. I'm really looking forward to hard half-doors on the JK. Hopefully I get to try them out *this* summer.

Half doors are better when driving around with the top down, but up here in Maine that's a SMALL minority of the time. The rest of the time, I'm glad I have full doors.
