I have had my doors off since last week. After working night shift this past weekend it is a great way to cool off and strench my leg out and rest it on the nerf bar. I work at a paper mill so the wood trucks I meet on my commute make you pull it back inside sometimes. I don't want my foot getting hooked to a Kenworth or Mack front bumper.

Dare ya! Just once while you're on a run and see if anyone notices!

Toad paints her nails Rescue Green to match her jeep (for Moab she dyed her hair, too!)

My jeep is silver....I stick with pink. I kinda like the irony of a big monster jeep with little pink (girl) toenails sticking out.

Even before I bought it, I told my wife that the doors are coming off.

It's funny how many times people ask "is that legal?".

Never thought of footpegs 'til I read this thread, so I made some. I'll buy some good ones eventually, but this'll do fine for my camping trip tomorrow. It's just an allan wrench, some bubble packaging and ties. Works like a charm:

Love this thread. My jeep gets naked in the spring and stays that way till October. Yes I hang my feet out on every driving occasion. Main reason why I got an automatic when I switched from a Tj to a jk because it started bugging me to bring my foot back in the jeep when I came to a stop sign just to work the clutch. I've been through a few sets of pegs now and the jeep pegs are by far my favorite so far. They are cool looking , round ( so going down the highway I throw my ankle on them) previous pegs cut into ankle. My kids have got their own sets now for the back too. We don't run doors much

Jeep pegs also have some bolts on bottom makes it a little harder to steal in a parking lot. ( lost my first set of pegs like that)

No theydont hurt the paint at all. Bolt slides down the lower door hinge there is a stop that keeps them in the correct place away from any paint
