Default Hard Top

Question: Does a 2008 4 door hardtop fit on a 2014 4 door JKU?

I know someone who wants to sell one but location makes it difficult to travel there if it doesnt fit... i dont want to waste a trip if its not gonna work.

Thoughts?

I believe it does but the issue will be with the hardtop guidance pins. You may need to create an additional hole in the jeep tub to fit the pins on that model of hardtop. Should be fine other than that though.

The back cap will, the freedom panels won't sit 100% correctly. The main issue is along the windshield header (jeep changed the windshield angle in later models). I put my 08 top on my 2013 and it had a horrible whistle the entire time.

This could be an isolated incident. You could test fit and drive around to make sure.

Good point. I was only talking about the back cap. I am not sure how the freedom panels would fit if at all.
