Default Hard Top, doors off

Hi, I just bought my first wrangler, and I'm taking possession Tuesday. I have both tops but I don't think it's worth putting the soft top for a month so i'm wondering if anyone rolls with all doors off and without the freedom panel? Is the wind getting ''stuck'' in the back of the jeep ?

I do when I can't find anyone to help me take the top off. IV also had someone in the back and they said the wind wasn't bad at all, so i don't see a problem

You can always drive with the rear window up and tailgate closed. It rattles a little but nothing too bad. Helps channel the air through

Soft top should be installed inside when you get it. You have to take the hard top off to get it out so why not enjoy the soft top for a month?

I didn't know I had to remove the hard top to remove the soft top. I have no choice then to go naked before winter

Running the hardtop with no doors is not an issue at all. I have done it several time and never a problem. If you look behind the spare tire in the tailgate it has a big vent in it.

Done it a few times for some short trips and had no issues at highway speeds.

Just to give you an idea what it would look like. I've run this a bunch of times(both on the freeway and around town) and I never had any problems. You can never go wrong when you take the doors off!

Good to know, I'll be going to work without the doors and with the hardtop wednesday morning than. A buddy is helping me remove the hard top after work so I can use the soft top for a month or so.

If your State requires side mirrors, buy a couple of cheap Harley Davidson take off mirrors on Craigslist and a few nuts and washers from the hardware store for some solid mounted mirrors.

PS: Watch out for rain. We were in a drought before I took the doors and top off, and it hasn't stopped raining after...
