I have a 2016 soft top. I am interested in changing to a hard top. I have someone wanting to swap with me. He has a 2010 hard top. Will this fit properly?

 

The generic answer is yes. I can't recall if it was '10 or later that the footman loop in the center of the windshield scooted over a couple inches. If that is the case, you can relocate that footman loop. The other thing you might note is the location of the guide pins where the top mates with the rear cargo rails.
