Hard top for winter
I know it is early but with fall just around the corner, I was wondering when most people switch from your summer soft top to your winter hard top? This will be my first winter in the Jeep, and we have been known to get flurries (if not more) in early oct...
Us too. I'll be putting mine on either this weekend or next weekend. May be a little early for snow, but if the weather's going to be chilly and wet it's not like I'll be putting the top down anyway. I have to do it outside so I don't want to be doing it once it gets too cold or if a freak snow storm comes.
Yeah I think I am going to try to hold out for a bit longer... and see how my luck holds out we have our warm octobers too so we will see. I just feel the need for at least a few more topless days....

I use the hardtop year-round....If I want sun, I just pop out the 2 front pieces of the hardtop.
I've had it off completely with doors too about 5 times this yr. tho.
Never liked the way the soft tops look.

I will be heading for Afganistan later in the month and know my wife would not be able to swap tops after I leave. Since she is only 4'11" and my father was visiting this past weekend I went ahead and switched tops. Too bad, the weather should be nice the next few weeks.
I am going to wait as long as I can ......I love my soft top the leaks are great!!!!
seriously though.....I am going to leave it on as long as possible...big trail ride coming end of the month....would rather damage a soft top then a hard top
