I have a 2010 wrangler unlimited soft top...now the car sales man said if i was to buy a soft top i couldn't buy a hard top for my jeep......is this a true fact or can i convert to a hard top?

 

100% not true... The salesman doesn't know what he's talking about. I bought my jeep with a hard top, because I knew it would be easier and cheaper to find a soft top aftermarket... You have to get all the hardware for which ever top you're looking to get, but that's it.

 

He's an idiot. There are 6 bolts and 2 hand screws for the freedom top that are used with a hardtop you will need to buy.

 

I would've asked "What-a-bout the dual top option?"

Dont worry about it. Mine came with a hard top but was switched to a soft.

 

the dealers are dumb he tried to convience me that my jeep is a five seater lol
i bought mine with soft top and bought hard top later on.... dont forget to get wireharness (and a switch if you dont have AC)
