Hardtop damage.
Ouch. I would of been pissed just for spraying the grass clippings at it. Not sure what would happen if they actually did damage. I'm 100% sure that would be the last time they cut my grass, and all my neighbors would be aware of how "helpful" these guys are.
Like I said, I would be taking them to small claims court if they don't cough up the money for a new hard top replacement. I would not be settling for a "repair" from some bath tub shop. The thing about repairs is that they won't last the test of time. After some temperature changes over time, the top will flex and the repair will eventually weaken. The paint will additionally be non OEM and will discolor and not match as well as flake and crack over time due to the flexing.
If they want to try to settle by doing a repair, then just stand your ground and tell them, they can have the damaged top and do their repair work and turn around and sell it as soon as you get your NEW replacement top.
If you have home owner's insurance you may be able to go through your home owner's insurance and do a claim through them for a new top, and then that would leave the going to court to your home owner's insurance company who have attorneys to handle things like this. Insurance companies like to go after the responsible parties and reclaim their costs.

Oh....get a new lawn care company while you're at it.
I don't have any more pictures of the damage. It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be just scraped the bottom side of the drivers side down. I had to leave for work. And will be going back to get my jeep hopefully this weekend. There is about a good 1/8 inch gone from the bottom of the top. My insurance told me to get up with them and they would pay it and then go after them for it. I was so mad when I got home I couldn't even remember my phone number on the voicemail I left for them.
