Lol this 1 of the reasons i didnt want a hardtop. Another is, the jeep is expensive enough without the 2,000$ top. The heat/ac in the jeep work awesome and ive got heated seats to help in the winter.
To the OP, just sell the hardtop and get a soft/trek top and you'll be golden!

u do not have any friends thta have a garage and just give them a case of beer to keep it for the summer in the corner? That is what i used to do

But what if you have $700 of audio gear siting in it? I wouldn't sleep at nite knowing a soft top is the only thing keeping Hagerstown from stealing it.. If I have the hardtop off overnight, I can just carry the low profile sub inside and remove faceplate

That's the only thing stopping me from just installing softtop for summer :/

You answered your own question... install softtop and remove sub and faceplate every night.

That would get old... And have to carry my sub into work everyday?

teamgreen666 04-06-2012 11:11 AM

Lets say you do manage to find a way to carry the hard top to your apartment. Do you know if your doorway is wide/big enough for the hardtop to fit through? Have you taken any measurements? Wouldnt want you to go thru all this trouble just to find out it wont fit.... :beer::beer:

It's less than 3 ft high. Don't have an exact measurement but should be fine. I would obviously make sure before trying it lol

Just moved into the area from PA. We both work about 30 min away in different directions. Haven't really had a chance to meet many friends around where we live
