Default It has been delivered.

My Jeep has been delivered. Normally this would be great, but it wasn't supposed to be delivered until Dec. 15th!!! I really don't want it sitting anywhere around the dealership where people can touch it. I know it may sound petty, but this is my first new vehicle. (Second Wrangler) I sent them an e-mail asking them to put it somewhere their customers won't be leaning on the paint, and getting in and out of it, dragging snow, mud, and leaves into it. I certainly don't want anyone test driving it.
Was I wrong in asking them to do this? If it would have just showed up on time there wouldn't be this problem. I mean it would sit on the lot for a little bit probably before I get home, but not this long. Now it's going to sit there for like 2-2.5 months.
I sent a second message asking if they could take a few pics and e-mail them to me.

If you let them know that you are still deployed they should make an effort to keep it on the back lot. It really is the least they can do for you. I guess another possibility, if you left POA to someone back home can they complete the paperwork and bring it home? Just something to think about.

Maybe you could go to the Red Cross and ask for a hardship trip home, maybe you will get lucking and they are Jeep Fans

Eitherway stay safe.

LOL. I don't think they will give me a hardship trip back home for the Jeep. I'm supposed to be out of here before the new year. I have about 2 months of leave coming to me. I think they should just let me go now, and I can use my leave modifying my Jeep and having a little fun till the rest of the unit comes back. LOL. I don't want my POA to pick it up because, I would then have to pay registration, insurance (while it sits there), down payment, and monthly payments. I don't pay a dime while it sits on the dealers lot.

I wrote an e-mail to them after I placed the order through ENCS and let them know that it was gonna be coming their way. The guy that responded seemed pretty cool, so I think they will do alright by me. Just have to keep my fingers crossed

Don't think you did wrong mailing them your concerns. After all, it's YOUR Jeep now, not theirs.

I ordered mine while I was in Iraq and it ended up sitting there for about two months. I didn't even ask and they put in the back lot where no one could even see it. Good luck on coming home - KY

Thanks for the offer to take it to your house. This is my second wrangler, but it's my first new Vehicle ever. I WILL be the one to put break in miles on it. That's why no one at home is going to pick it up. Well that and the fact that it's cheaper for me to leave it on the lot.

I got an e-mail back from the dealership and they said that I don't have to worry it's out back with other sold vehicles and no one will be touching or test driving it. They also snapped some pics and sent them to me. I will put a few on here, but I put all of them in my profile pics if you want to take a look at the rest.

Man I'm so stoked. I can not wait to get the H3ll out of this place!!! I'm going to go crazy thinking about that. I won't get another wink of sleep for the next 2 months.

That's the nicest Unlimited I've seen. LOVE the color . If mine ends up lemoning, I will be getting that color as the replacement.

Very nice! (though it'll look a bit better once you run her through some mud )

Be safe out there so you can enjoy it!
