Hi everyone! I am considering upgrading my 2010 JKU. My question is if I can order new and option heated seats (cloth) and remote start if I do not get a rubicon or Sahara. I don't need many of the bells and whistles that go with the rubicon and Sahara. My complete options would be:

-automatic transmission
-3.73 gears
-limited slip
-remote start
-heated seats
-tow package
-dual top
-Sirius
-connectivity group

You may be able to upgrade with dealer installed options, but i don't think you can from the factory....

 

I kinda figured that would be the case. Financially, it may just be easier to order the Sahara. This way, I get it all installed in the factory.

 

Now if only the factory would install 4.10's on the Sahara.................

 

I've added remote start to my last two jeeps(both X). I've worked it out in the deal and it's worked for me. Can't see why you couldn't do both. They have waved the labor for it both times. I would just include it with the deal then you get everything you want and are not paying for the extra stuff. Just my $.02!

 

My Jeep dealership has the heated seats in stock, after last nights 5 degree temps I'm considering having them installed. They said it'll even switch out the buttons on the dash so it even looks like it came from the factory that way. I also purchased a mygig touch screen to update my basic factory head unit as well. You can get a lot of the options after you purchase the Jeep if you really want them.
