Help appraise my JK?
Hey all,
I'm considering getting out of my JK and into something else. Normally I'm ok with just trading it in and taking the hit.. but am considering selling it myself. I was hoping to get some thoughts on what it may be worth.
'07 2-door Sahara: 140,000 miles. Almost all stock.
- 6 speed manual.
- Dual tops.
- Tow package.
Aftermarket:
- Moog and Raybestos ball joints, drag link, and tie-rod parts.
- Rubicon shocks.
- 265 (vs 255) section width tires.
- Will probably throw in a Predator tuner.
What it needs / things to watch:
- Brakes due soon.
- Weeping axle seals.
- Weeping timing chain cover.
Misc:
- Body is Decent. Some nicks and scratches.
- Tires are Excellent.
- Essentially no service records.
- Interior is quite nice. No rips, tears, or scary unidentifiable stains.
I figure it'll make someone a good wheeler for the right price. Any thoughts on what that price should be?
Thanks!
(KBB puts me around 8-8500 on a trade-in -- But we know how that goes. Blue book is something like 10-10.5 private sale. Is that reasonable?)

Thanks guys.
Been looking at the local ads, but don't see any JK's with much over 100K on them.
And yes, I stink at record keeping. I'm good with fluid change intervals, and I fix things when they break or wear out - but terrible at keeping record of it. I've got a bunch of receipts I can go through to piece together some history and give some estimates on repair dates and what-not. But no mileage.
Not sure what I'll end up doing. I'm not completely 'sold' on any replacement vehicle yet, and I seem to keep changing my mind.

I would say kbb is about right. once a vehicle gets over 100,000 miles the value really drops and with the things it needs I would expect to get closer to the dealer trade price. Your jeep has a lot of life in it still just needs some repairs. These things are so easy to work on they should last forever unless the rust monster eats them up.
