Default Help... Busted a Shock, Need a new one.

Yesterday I busted the rear passenger shock and need a new one. If anyone has upgraded their OEM shocks or just simply has an extra one, please let me know. I am driving around with three good shocks.

Pfft... Real men drive with no shocks!

Kidding... this is what we call "upgrade time." If you shop around northridge4x4.com, quadratec.com, or any of the good dealers, you are bound to find a reasonably priced set of 4 replacement shocks that will give you better performance than stock.

If you are intentionally trying to stay stock, and you aren't still in warranty, I am pretty sure Quadratec sells OEM replacement parts.

Check out the For Sale Section.....under either

General Junk, JK accessories & Misc Parts or JK suspension....maybe able to pick up 4 OEM shocks for cheap or free.

Ah, the great thing about buying a Wrangler is that it's the only vehicle where broken or damaged parts are simply an excuse to buy better parts.

I'll try to convince the lady that we now need a lift, if that does not work, does anyone have a spare rear shock available?

jumped it, didn't ya?

If you're just looking for a stock replacement get rid of all evidence of what you did and take it in....dealer will cover it if you tell them you hit a pothole or something along those lines.
