Hello All,

i recently purchased a 2008 auto JKU with 35 inch tires installed on it already.

i am trying to figure out if the car has been regeared without opening up the differentials to check.

what i have done is that I marked the tire and the driveshaft positions with a tape, and I moved for a complete tire rotation, the driveshaft rotated 5 times and a little bit more.

does this mean I have a 5.13 gear ratio??

this is exactly what I tried. I just wanted to make sure it’s accurate.

i didn’t lift the car in the air though but rather moved forward with D
