HELP!! Trying to move!
I am trying to move from CT to Colorado, and am looking for any decent companies that would deliever it for me. The average price I am getting is give or take a grand. I would drive it myself, but I did the math and it would almost cost me as much have it shipped (gas, hotels, food, and did I mention GAS!!!) I also fiqured it would save my tires, and I wouldnt have to add all the mileage. I would also be driving by myself, so that would suck! Anybody wanna go? LOL!!!!
i drove my jk out from Baltimore to Denver fully loaded and with my dog, i spent just over $700 on gas...i drove 17 hours the first dat, slept in a $60 hotel for 6 hours and then drove another 9 hours to Denver...I've done it a bunch of times previously and would do it again...certainly not worth it for me to have paid to stick it on a truck
ClaytonT, Graebel's HQ is in Denver. Never had a problem with them before, sorry you had a bad experience.
Foley909, check out your local auto auction. Give them a call or go out there, you should be able to get a handful of names of auto-transports, and should be able to get a good deal. Save $ by having your vehicle transported to Denver's auto-auction instead of to your house (its the last mile that adds a lot to the price). Last time I had a car shipped to Denver from CA it was $300 cash. I drove it to the auction house in Orange County, and they loaded it on a transport, and I picked it up a week later in Denver.
