Default here is a new one for me

so I was driving to lunch today and hit 58,000 miles!

Its a cool day at 64 degrees and sunny.... no top and no doors

Driving along, I get off the highway and here the chime 4 or 5 times and then it stopped. No lights, odd noises, or otherwise. Simply 58,000 miles was the only "unsual" thing about it.

Got to the restaurant and parked, check oil, transmission, coolant, looked for leaks, and nothing. weird as hell. Gonna hook up my superchips and see if any codes were thrown.

TPMS maybe? Tires cooling off after being on the highway then with the cooler temps going below the recommended pressure levels?

I think that's the 'time to trade' indicator chime. . . better go order a 2011.

I bet it was your tranction control warning. I've had that go off a few times when getting off the freeway, even if it's a light curve. I only know because I caught the symbol that comes on because I was looking at my dash, but if you are not looking at it, you miss it.

mine does that every morning after 20 mins of driving like clock work. its the TMPS or lack of. Usually at the same intersection or close to.
I always have the the warning light on when the chime kicks in the light flashes.

Keep us posted on what you find out the cause is, or if. Sometimes it takes awhile to find the problem, or finding the technician that has the ability and patience to find the problem to fix it.
