i was looking for some xtra storage space but dont want to invest in a roof rack or new bumper with rack and came across the warrior hitch mounted rack with 8 inch rise. was wondering what u guys thought as to it getting in the way offroad? i dont do anything to xtreme just overlanding type trips.

We borrowed one from a friend of ours (jeeps in the drive) over the Memorial Day weekend so we could camp with our two dogs and three teenage girls. What surprised me was that it did okay even off road where we had a drop off which surprised me. Not saying it would be great for doing anything extreme but for what you describe I think it'd be fine.

Sorry I don't have a better pic but this one shows how you can get away without a roof rack by using the hitch mount and trail racks.
