Yesterday I was out and I saw 18 JK's yesterday on the road. Only 2 of them were 2 doors, and about 14 of them were Sahara's driven by soccer moms, and they all looked clean and unscratched.

They are very popular now!

But nobody waves, except for TJ's and YJ's and CJ's.

 

I feel your pain. I always wave, but unfortunately the "soccer mom" seems to have a death grip on the JK wheel.

A 2 door JK is a rare sight, and believe it or not I haven't seen another 2-door Rubi on the road in Columbus since I bought mine.

 

no kidding, I've only seen one other 2 door around me and he just got his. I'm starting to see alot more 4 doors on the road, We just got our first Jeep dealer in the city, so i think thats the main reason.


they have a handful of 2 doors on the lot.

 

No offense to anybody who has one, but that silver crap on the front bumper of the '80 Sahara's is FUGLY! Even wifey said that. I pointed it out to her, but held back my opinion. "That looks like crap! It's a Jeep for crying out loud!" Direct quote right there. :lol:

 

Yeah, those 4-doors are a hit!


I'm motioning for Jeep to install a "MUST WAVE" warning sticker on the steering wheel for customer pickup. It should be similar to the AIRBAG warning labels, just put them were somebody may actually read them.

 

I think I must have the only 2 door in Baltimore......even the dealers have 4 doors on the lot but no 2 doors.....Oh well......I guess that makes me special.

 

Yup, I'm 3 for 35 on the wave, the first two I got were from modded out beat up YJ's and the 3rd surprisingly was from a hot blonde in a Jeep green Sahara JK Unlimited. She perked up was real excited when I waved. Either because of the whole Jeep wave thing, or because I am just damn good looking....Probably the earlier.. lol

i quit waving, because i get sick of the blank stare i get in return, very rareley would i get a wave. i have on the other hand, also had a hot blonde chick initiate a wave. btw 14 plus 2 is 16. sorry had to mention it. poeple say i'm an ass But i don't believe em, cause my mom says i'm a nice boy.

 

i wave indiscriminantly. i'm not going to compromise what i believe to be a good thing just because someone else didn't get the memo.
